I spent to much money on this product. Yes she dose teach you a choreography but thats it. It said Something like a bonus but it was her dancing the Choreography. Go and buy Julina stuff its a lot better. ans to think she is one of my favorite dancers.

Although I just love the way Sadie dances, I was not able to keep up with this dvd. Its for someone with some belly dance experience as opposed to someone like me with no experience. I have been practicing for 1 month and love how Sadie dances but it was very frustrating to try to keep up with her. I just purchased Sadies complete belly dance guide and hope that helps to more.

The review before me did most of the details. I gave it a four because it does not teach you the basic drum solo tips about listening to the drums It is something to test your skills after you have learned the basic/intermediate moves. The is the first dvd where I see a flutter included. She gives a brief description of how it is done. She points out that if you want to learn or drill the moves try one of her intermediate dvd’s so she is really telling you that this is a advanced. Pops not locks are done. snappy moves. I called it one to master because a beginner will indeed have a time learning this.

Being a student of bellydance for over 10 years, I find it difficult to be challenged anymore, which is silly because there’s ALWAYS room for improvement. But Sadie to the rescue! This DVD’s warm up will not only stretch you out but REALLY work your legs and help you practice layering movements.
I think any GOOD dance instruction dvd should be way too hard the first time, otherwise after just a few uses you’ll be tired of it.
It will take you a while to master this choreography (unless you’re a superstar) but you will always be learning and practicing, getting that muscle memory to kick in. And once you DO master this drum solo, look out, you know you’re hot stuff and you’ll be so proud of yourself!
Be patient, have fun, and take breaks.

Sadie is a wonderful dancer and an expert at drum solos. She is always a pleasure to watch but unless you are a very advanced dancer, you won’t be able to follow her…If you think you are not very advanced, I recommend Bahaia’s drum solo instead. It is easier and doesn’t have too complicated isolations and shimmies.
