An excellent CD for belly dance lovers. Each track is very danceable and most of them are fairly well known in Egypt. Suitable primarily for baladi style dance.

As a teacher and a permanent student in belly dance and pilates, I need to find new music always, if i don’t want to bore my pupils. In Modern Belly Dance, and some others like Bouddha music and The Best of Belly Dance, i’ve found the perfect music for both performing. Modern Belly Dance is a compendium of real arabian and specially egiptian music, with the real sense of this culture. I love it.

This CD is a good one. Fun to listen to, and many tracks that could be used for routines. I recommend it.
