Unbelievable!!!
This Grand Master of percussion not only trespasses the boundaries of his country of origine when it comes to being the master of this instrument, but has became synonymous with the instruments themselves. After being given the name Misirli by the masters of Egypt, he went back to Turkey where he is sought after as the one to follow. As far as I know, I can only compare him with names such as Zakir Hussain and his brother Levent Yildirim.
This album is by far my favorite of his and is a masterpiece of sound quality and music, period! I will enjoy this sublime album for many, many years to come. Namaste
