Belly dancing needs a lot of self-confidence. It allows u 2 b sexy & confident in yourself. Plus, u get 2 wear some spicy outfits.

In Phoenix Arizona you have Ava Fleming listed as a instructor, http://www.avafleming.com/. She is absolutely amazing.

As for choosing between carabet and fusion–why choose? You can do both at the same time, or take one type of class for a couple of months and then switch. Many belly dancers do both, example Ansuya, http://www.ansuya.com

From what I found, you have at least 35 instructors that listed Phoenix as their closest large city.

Most local rec-centers offer a catalog of “classes” they offer for a minimal fee.

Visit your local rec-center, pick up a class schedule and look under “Dance Classes”.

    Grab your zils, and shimmy.
