hahaha Shakira? well, I recommend Nancy Ajram, Hakim, Haifa Webe, Roubi, Amr Diab and Najwa Karam. I like those artists.

I currently love this collaboration: Timbaland ft. Amar – “BOMBAY”

Here’s a copy of the song with clips of Shakira belly-dancing:

If you do some searches on YouTube, there’s other vids with people belly dancing to it:

first off, jj exoticbellydance must be extremely new to bellydance. Shakira’s songs are not really all that suited to a bellydance performance. The other songs she has listed are not Arabic nor are they appropriate for bellydance at all. They are Hindi songs (i.e. from India). If your looking for brand new pop songs I would recommend checking out
    Nancy Ajram

    Haifa Wehbe

Older pop that’s still quite popular
    Amro Diab

    Hakim

Older classical stuff still highly popular
    Mohamed Abdel Wahab

Personally I’d recommend Ya Nour El Ain by Amro Diab (also spelled Amr Diab). This particular song is a lot of fun to dance to has translations available online so you can understand what’s being sung and has been popular since it came out (’95 or ’96 i believe).
